Our Top Executives:

Rex Bashford, the chief analyst and architect of the WC20 method, has a lifetime’s experience within the field of workers comp. He has implemented a number of firsts in this complex industry for a number of his clients.

Just some of his innovations:
1. Created a (still) unique workers’ compensation policy covering all jurisdictions in Australia;
2. Created first and only Comcare self- insurer in the construction industry; and
3. Created unique workers’ compensation arrangements in NZ leading to significant premium savings for a major employer.

Rex has consulted to many of the largest corporations in Australia since 1983 and assisted them to legitimately reduce their workers compensation costs. In every jurisdiction in Australia Rex has worked on projects that have encompassed premium reduction, claims management, self- insurance as well as every aspect of the management of workers’ compensation programmes.

Rex Bashford has provided advice to the federal government on a number of workers compensation matters. Rex has a deep understanding of the complex and ever changing workers comp legislation for the multiple schemes that exist.

Conservatively these projects and programmes, masterminded by Rex,  have resulted in premium savings in excess of $250 million over the last decade for a number of Australia’s leading companies.
